It’s Valentine’s Day and we want you to know that our love for you Emersyn continues to grow,
We think of you every second of every single day and we have been broken my love since you went away.
We know your spirit is with us and you live in our hearts but it is so very hard to be physically apart. As we look back to this special day last year we remember those moments and hold them so dear.
You sat with daddy and read your favourite book and melted mommy’s heart with just one look, Why can we not have your sweet face to kiss and your warm hands to hold and watch you grow up as we get old?
This loss is so backwards, so unnatural and cruel, we would have given anything to see you grow up and be a big girl at school.We look for signs that you are with us each day, sometimes doubt finds us but you send reminders our way, A bird flying by or the breeze blows our hair, it’s like you are telling us that you are still there.
As we visit your grave and the sun hits our face we feel you saying “hi mom and dad I love you, I’m ok and I really like this place”.
It’s Valentine’s Day and we have a huge hole in our heart but we know one day we will be whole again when we are no longer apart.
